EUGONIC BROTH
Eugonic Broth is a rich liquid medium recommended for the cultivation of fastidious microorganisms such as Neisseria, Haemophilus, and Brucella. Casein, Meat, and Soy Peptones provide nitrogen sources for the rapid bacterial growth. Yeast Extract is a source of B-complex vitamins. Maltose is the fermentable carbohydrate. GCHI Enrichment is a supplement promoting the growth of fastidious microorganisms. Hemin and Vitamin K supply growth factors required by certain anaerobes. A small amount of Agar is added to reduce oxygen level and enhance anaerobic conditions.
