PSEUDOMONAS F AGAR
Pseudomonas F Agar is an agar medium used to detect fluorescein production by Pseudomonas spp. Tryptein and Meat Peptone provide nutrients like amino acids, peptides, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. Glycerin favors pigment formation and Dipotassium Phosphate stimulates the preferential production of fluorescein over pyocyanin and pyorubrin. Agar is the gelifying agent.
