Quality Policy

 

Alpha Biosciences specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dehydrated culture media.  We have been committed to total quality since the initial certification in 2012 by ISO 9001 Quality System.  This system provides Alpha Biosciences with a means of monitoring and measuring the company's processes and performance.  It offers a framework for communication and training and sets objectives and targets for the continual improvement of our organization.

The scope of Alpha Biosciences' quality management system includes the manufacture and distribution of culture media.  The quality management system is applied to the activities of management, production, quality control, sales, and distribution both in The United States of America and abroad, carried out from its facility in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Quality Policy of Alpha Biosciences is based on the following commitments:

  • Achieve and maintain high levels of satisfaction required by our customers.
  • Comply with legal, contractual, or other requirements applicable to our activity.
  • Continuous improvement in our processes, methods of actions, and in our relations with interested parties through the establishment and periodic review of our quality objectives and our quality policy.
  • Promote an understanding and dissemination of our quality policy within the organization, through training and continuous communication with all the company's personnel.
  • Effectively control and manage all departments, to meet our objectives and obtain a high degree of quality from them, giving special relevance to:
    • Quality of products
    • Excellence in distribution and customer satisfaction
    • Continuous improvement of our performance

The management ensures that the Quality Policy is known and understood by all the company's personnel, is properly disseminated and is available to all interested parties.

The review of the Quality Policy, the establishment, and review of concrete and quantified quality objectives, as well as the evaluation of the effectiveness of their compliance, is carried out in the system reviews by management.
